Special Notice- August 15, 2025

As we approach 28 years in business and a long and satisfying second career, both Carl Zambuto and his coworker Chuck Smith (26 years with ZOC) are planning to retire from optical manufacture.

Our first necessary step is to close sales of new mirrors, and so that is official as of this day, August 15, 2025. We will not be accepting any new orders from here forward.

We continue to work all current orders of which 21 mirrors remain. We will continue into 2026 until all orders are completed to the Zambuto standard. It is our commitment that the last mirror we make will be as good as any we have ever made.

We will continue servicing Zambuto mirrors (only) with inspection and coating services for the foreseeable future, on a reasonable and if necessary, limited basis. Please see our Primary Mirrors page for further details and explanation.
